Introduction Palin Dancing With the Stars routine isn’t a dance to no place

This year is already tipped as the Palin “Dancing with the Stars” season. Granted, it does have more to do with the fact that she is the daughter of Sarah Palin than anything she, herself, has done. For a seemingly token addition, Bristol managed to do a fairly decent job. This fall outing of the show certainly has plenty of star power to go around. Some haven’t made their names in the normal ways people get famous, like acting or sports. Nevertheless, it should be a good season. The cast is pretty awesome anyway.

Bristol within the middle

Though anything Palin gets attention seemingly regardless of merit at times, the first Palin “Dancing with the Stars” routine was actually not too bad. Florence Henderson and Bristol Palin tied, as outlined by CNN, with each scoring an 18 of 30. As for the rest of the scores, Margaret Cho, David Hasselhoff and Michael “The Situation” Sorrentino all failed to get higher than a 15. Michael Bolton did slightly better. He scored a 16. Super Bowl winner Kurt Warner tied with reality show stooge Audrina Partridge from “The Hills”. Former LA Laker Rick Fox fared the best of the athletes. He scored a 22. Brandy and Kyle Massey, teen actor from a number of series on the Disney Channel, both got scores of 23 and Brandy is temporarily reunited with her previous co-judge Hasselhoff from “America’s Got Talent” But 23 wasn’t enough to secure the win.

No one puts Baby in a corner

Never mind any famous offspring; Jennifer Grey is on the show and that means that “Dirty Dancing” is going to get brought up. The film launched the careers of Grey and Patrick Swayze. Her character was unimaginatively named Baby, however that is where the famous line “no one puts Baby in a corner” comes from That makes this season, and also the Jennifer Grey “Dancing with the Stars” appearances, that much more awesome. Well, it turns out she still has the chops. Grey, along with dance partner Derek Hough got the top score of 24 from 30.

This season really should be

This, along with each and every other year, should be incredibly buzzworthy and for good reason. Some of the stars on this season’s cast have real talent for dancing. That said, it is a celebrity-reality show. A large part of it is parading people around, like show dogs, the public has become interested in for some reason.
